Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)
Discover Scuba Diving consists of Introductory training, then 2 ocean dives the following day (2 days required).
Discover Scuba Diving is a welcoming introduction for anyone curious about what it feels like to breathe
underwater. It is ideal for first-time divers who are not yet sure whether they want to take a full certification
course.
Your instructor begins with a short theory session explaining what happens to the body in a pressurized
underwater environment. You will be introduced to your scuba equipment and practise a few basic skills to help you feel as comfortable as possible. The following day, you will head to the ocean for two dives.

• Short introduction to diving theory and underwater pressure
• Equipment orientation and basic skills practice
• Two ocean dives on the following day

Prerequisites:
- Open Water Scuba Diver
- Be at least 12 years
- Perform excellent buoyancy
